Origami Crane

Inspired by the Japanese art of origami. The designer had the opportunity to go to Hiroshima, Japan and to learn about the history of folding cranes of the girl Sadako who folded a thousand cranes. Why did Sadako choose to fold the paper into the shape of a crane?  The Japanese symbol of the crane is believed to be a bird of happiness.

The profound meaning of this Japanese crane was the inspiration for the design of the ‘Origami Crane collection’ Produced from world-class material (silver paper type 99.9), the piece retains all the details of the original unique folded paper.
